Time & Style Milan showroom open
6月、ミラノデザインウィークの開催とともに、ヨーロッパ2店舗目となるショールームをミラノ・ブレラ地区にオープンしました。1800年代に建てられたネオクラシック様式の建築との出会いによって、新しい空間が生まれました。家具、テーブルウェア、日本人作家による工芸品や盆栽で構成された空間は、日常の営みを体現したショールームです。また、個人のお客様から建築家やデザイナーなどのプロフェッショナルのお客様までが集う、ビジネスの拠点となっています。
In June, with the opening of Milan Design Week, we opened our second European showroom in the Brera district of Milan, a new space created by the encounter with a neoclassical architecture built in the 1800s. The space, composed of furniture, tableware, crafts by Japanese artists, and bonsai trees, is a showroom that embodies everyday life. It also serves as a business hub, attracting private clients and professionals such as architects and designers.
Peter Zumthor collection release exhibition
建築家、ピーター・ズントーと作り上げた家具コレクション「Peter Zumthor collection」を発表。彼が建築プロジェクトのためにデザインしてきた家具を再構成し製品化した、世界初となるピーター・ズントーの家具コレクションです。ズントー氏が作り出す普遍的なデザインを日本独自の製造技術と素材によって実現することができました。6月のミラノデザインウィーク開催に合わせ、ミラノと東京で同時発表し、日本の技術の高さを世界に向けて発信しました。
The Peter Zumthor collection, a furniture collection created with architect Peter Zumthor, is now available. This is the world’s first Peter Zumthor furniture collection that reconstructs and commercializes the furniture he has designed for architectural projects. The universal design created by Mr Zumthor was realized with Japan’s unique manufacturing techniques and materials. It was presented simultaneously in Milan and Tokyo in conjunction with the Milan Design Week held in June, communicating the high level of Japanese technology to the world.

イタリアのインテリアブランドBoffi | DePadovaとのパートナーシップによって誕生したコレクション「Time & Style ēdition」は、発表から3年目を迎えました。イタリアと日本、双方の歴史と文化への深い敬意によって実現したコレクションは、2022年に新たなラインナップを加え、全22シリーズを展開。無垢材を用いた木工製品や和紙の照明など、日本に受け継がれている自然素材によって作られている製品が新しい世界観を創り出しています。全世界のBoffi | DePadovaのショールームでは、豊かな空間が表現されています。
Time & Style ēdition, created in partnership with Italian interior design brand Boffi | DePadova, marks its third year since its launch. Materialized through mutual respect towards history and culture between Italy and Japan, the collection welcomed a new additions in 2022 to the product lineup, which sums to a total of 22 series. The collection comprises products made with natural materials traditionally used in Japan, such as those made of solid wood and washi paper lighting fixtures. The Boffi | DePadova showrooms around the world propose interior spaces brimming with elegance and sophistication.

Both Japanese and overseas customers can now purchase our furniture, lighting, and tableware from our dedicated Time & Style Online Store. The online store introduces each carefully crafted product with its images to spark interior decor ideas. We strive to convey the charm of Japanese manufacturing and artistry to the world through this website.

日本人グラフィックデザイナー、イラストレーターとして世界で活躍する葵・フーバーによる作品展を開催。

Katsutoshi Mizuno porcelain exhibition in Amsterdam
長年に渡り、「写し」という技法を取り入れて白磁のうつわを作り続けている水野克俊による、ヨーロッパ初となる個展。
OBJEWELRY – Kirayurina in Tokyo
吉良ゆりなによる幾何学体を組み合わせた壁面作品とタイムアンドスタイルが製品化したプロダクトを発表。

Torso on the Box – Kazutoshi Shimuta in Tokyo
家具やインテリアとともに美術作品を見せる、紫牟田和俊のインスタレーション。10年に渡り創作を続けているシリーズを発表。
Installation art by Kazutoshi Shimuta showcasing artworks along with furniture and interior design. We displayed an installation series that the artist has been working on for a decade.
Mutual projection – Haruka Hirai in Amsterdam
絵画を使ったインスタレーションによって起きるイリュージョンを想起するシステムを考える平井晴香の展覧会を開催。
We held an exhibition by Haruka Hirai, who envisions and devices systems that evoke an illusion in an installation work featuring a series of paintings.
A Certain Form – Kazue Okada in Tokyo
絵画の思考を元に、空間と呼応しながら絵画でもなく、彫刻でもない、その場との対峙の中で形を見出しみせる事を続けてきた岡田和枝の展覧会。
Informed by pictorial concepts and working in concord with spaces, this artist discovers and shows forms that are neither “paintings” nor “sculptures” while confronting the challenges of each specific setting.
WorldSkills Competition 2022
第46回技能五輪大会が、スイス・バーゼルで開催されました。家具部門では、日本代表としてTime & Style Factory所属の吉田理玖が出場し、世界から集まった若者たちとともに技術とスピードを競い合いました。
大会に向け、日々トレーニングを積み、次世代を担う職人たちの技術の伝承が行われています。温かい、多くのご支援、大変ありがとうございました。
WorldSkills Competition 2022 Special Edition was held in Basel, Switzerland, and other locations. Time & Style Factory member Riku Yoshida participated in the cabinetmaking category as a competitor representing Japan. Our factory members are training daily to prepare for the competition and have been passing on their skills to the next generation of craftspeople. We would like to express our gratitude for your continued support.
Magemage by Kengo Kuma
マゲマゲ
建築家・隈研吾氏が北海道・東川町のためにデザインしたチェア「マゲマゲ」。建築資材である9mmの積層合板を曲げて接着することで薄さと強度を両立させ、体に馴染む座り心地です。北海道を代表するシラカバとトドマツを使い、「北海道の森」をイメージしています。家具産地の東川町に拠点を開設した隈氏が、建築と木工家具を繋ぎ合わせたプロジェクトは、この町だからこそ実現したチェアです。
製作：Time & Style Factory、限定50脚。

Magemage
Magemage is a chair designed by architect Kengo Kuma for Higashikawa Town, Hokkaido. We created comfortable seating that suits the human body by bending and gluing 9-mm-laminated plywood sheets together, achieving striking thinness and strength. Using white birch and Sakhalin fir, two of Hokkaido’s most iconic trees, Kuma envisioned the forests of Hokkaido and designed the chair as a fusion of architecture and wooden furniture. The development of this chair was only possible in Higashikawa, a town known for its furniture production, where Kuma opened his base.
