Mikuni Izukogen

Indoor seating consists of comfortable, stackable wooden chairs, and outdoor seating on the terrace consists of custom-designed GC chairs developed jointly by Kuma and Time & Style. The weather-resistant teak wood is coated with exterior paint, with joints in the seat surface designed to accommodate the natural wood movement caused by external use, along with other structural and finishing features tailored to the environment without any modification to the outline. The table top is made of rare Alaskan cypress, which is also used for the ceiling. The space brings together architecture and interior design made primarily of wood in harmony with the rich environment.
