Our client’s interest in materials such as brass used for the cabinet legs and cast bronze for the table legs is what inspired a request for furniture for the living room, dining room, and study of a private residence.
In the dining room we actively incorporated the brass and bronze that had inspired the request, helping to give the space a stately, yet modern look. Selecting a warm gray color for the upholstery of the dining chairs to coordinate with the indirect lighting of the shelves and the bronze of the table helps the different materials to blend together harmoniously in a space without even the slightest hint of incongruence.
The sofa in the living room is upholstered in light gray-beige leather to match the gradation of the walls, and blend in with the overall space. Giving the sofa legs and low table a dark coloration brings the space together, emphasizing a more modern image.
