Located in the heart of Wangjing, Hyatt Regency Beijing Wangjing was designed to create a quiet, natural atmosphere within the busy urban environment.
Kengo Kuma & Associates took a hint from the style of Sanheyuan, a traditional Chinese house with a courtyard open to one side. They arranged the hotel and the office buildings in the shape of C and named the inner courtyard “Urban Forest,” creating an open oasis for the public in Beijing.
The interior design project was created by Team 7.
For the spacious suite rooms, they use the Horizontal sofa, Composition cabinet, and Leo seamless chairs for the dining room, and Leone lounge chair for the bedroom. All from Time & Style’s original collection.
The legs of the sofas and cabinets made of brass harmonize the natural materials on the suites’ interior, such as marble and wood, giving an elegant atmosphere in the living space.
At the open-air atrium where is planted bamboo trees, we produced custom-made sofas with slender legs designed by Kengo Kuma.
The cubic shape sofas are supported by four legs inserted inside the body to gives the impression as if it is floating among the bamboo forest.
