This house, given to a mother by her son wanting her to live comfortably, is located in a grove of trees along the sea in an area with a warm climate. The large square roof looks the same when seen from any direction and underneath there is a relaxing living space. Under the large roof, a large room is roughly divided using pieces of furniture and walls lower than the ceiling.

We used oak wood grown in Hokkaido Prefecture for all the pieces of furniture and as interior materials for the floors and stairs to harmonize the furniture with the building. We designed well-crafted storage furniture and a kitchen counter with a copper sink exclusively for this house.
