We felt a need for zataku tables which can blend seamlessly within traditional Japanese spaces, but there are no modern zataku available anywhere which suit traditional Japanese-style tatami-mat rooms. With that, we thought carefully about zataku, the essence of Japanese furniture, and what it means to harmonize well within the traditional Japanese spaces that we ought to treasure.
